Description: Orthograde retreatment was recommended before apical surgery to achieve high success rates. The aim of this study was to determine the success rates of apicoectomy of core and post-restored teeth without prior root canal retreatment followed for up to 13 years.

At the conclusion, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the type of study
  • Evaluate the long-term success and survival rates and identify the reasons for extraction.
  • Compare the short-term vs long-term healing outcomes
