The aim of this study was to investigate the sequelae of direct pulp capping (DPC) using mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) and Biodentine in mature permanent teeth with carious exposure. 

At the conclusion, participants should be able to:

  • List the clinical indications and case selection criteria for direct pulp capping.
  • Evaluate the factors influencing the outcome of direct pulp capping. 
  • Perform direct pulp capping procedure using bioceramic materials.
