Comparative Outcome Analysis of Endodontic Microsurgery for Through-and- Through Lesions Using Propensity Score Matching: A Retrospective Cohort Study
CE Hours: 1.0
Description: Through-and-through (T-T) lesions present unique anatomical challenges in endodontic microsurgery (EMS), often resulting in delayed or incomplete healing. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes of EMS in T-T lesions, compare them with non-T-T lesions using propensity score matching.
At the conclusion of this article, the reader will be able to:
- Describe the healing characteristics of through-and-through lesions following endodontic microsurgery.
- Compare the short-term and extended follow-up outcomes between through-and-through and non–through-and-through lesions.
- Discuss the clinical implications of delayed radiographic healing in through-and-through lesions.
